1.He is real

God exists, and He is the creator of all things, including us His people.

2.He loves us

God did not only create us, but He also loves us, and He wants to have a true and a living relationship with us.

3.He hates sin

We were all born in sin, and this has always prevented us from having a relationship with God, because He is holy. The punishment of sin is death (perishing in hell), which means not spending eternity with God in heaven.

4.He gave us His Son

We could not save ourselves from sin and death. However, God sent Jesus Christ as a gift to us, to save us from sin and death, and give us a new and eternal life.

5.He wants us to believe in His Son and live

The only thing God wants us to do is to believe in Jesus Christ, who the Bible says He is and what He has done; and let go of everything else we have been told about Jesus, and everything we have previously done in order to try and have a relationship with God.
